Those of you who know me know that I am a huuuuge animal lover and that ever since I was a child, it was always my ”mission” to save as many animals as possible. 🐶🐱
Five years ago my family and I rescued an abandoned starving dog from the side of the road in south of Serbia and named her Miša. We brought her to Slovenia and after some time I started noticing she had skin problems. She did not enjoy the bed I bought her and was constantly scratching and being restless. Having some experience with allergic reactions, because my two little sweeties-my twin son and daughter have had them since they were born, I immediately knew that a bed made of 100% cotton fabric was the answer for restlessness and a good night’s sleep. But of course the quality of the cotton plays a very important role, since it has to be durable enough so that the dog is not able to tear it. I could not find a bed that would fit all of this criteria.
And at that moment I thought to myself, that I could do better.
I spent a lot of time finding suitable materials and suppliers. But I did it.
But it is not just about the exterior. I had to find a special filling that would be just as perfect as the fabric. So for that I chose clinically tested filling made of silicone-coated polyester balls that are antibacterial and therefore ideal for everyone with allergies, asthma and skin related problems. But I will tell you more about this filling some other time. 😉
